Erik has played a central role in building the operational foundation of Western Wealth Capital since joining the firm as one of its first employees in 2015. With more than a decade of direct real estate experience, he oversees corporate and investor operations, including legal and regulatory functions, investment committee governance, securities compliance, and marketing communications.
During his tenure, Erik has overseen the placement of more than $1.4 billion in equity capital and supported the execution of over $6.2 billion in real estate transactions. He has also served in director and trustee roles for two Western Wealth Capital–affiliated private real estate funds, providing fiduciary oversight and supporting disciplined capital allocation and risk management.
Erik brings more than 25 years of entrepreneurial and operational leadership experience across rapidly scaling organizations. Prior to Western Wealth Capital, he held a senior management role at Ledcor Technical Services, a division of Ledcor Group, where he was responsible for over $300 million in full-cycle projects, from pursuit through successful execution. Earlier in his career, Erik was a key member of a leadership team that scaled an early-stage business to become the second-largest company in its category in North America, culminating in a successful exit through a merger with the industry’s largest operator.
Erik holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship from the University of Victoria.
