Janet LePage


Janet is co-founder and CEO of Western Wealth Capital, a company focused on creating wealth for their clients through well-selected investment real estate. Janet holds a joint major in Computer Science and Business with a Project Management Professional designation. She climbed up the telecommunication corporate ranks as one of the youngest managers for two of British Columbia’s top 10 largest companies before focusing her passion on real estate investing.

Janet is a highly sought after speaker at real estate and business groups, and has been featured in numerous real estate investment magazines and radio segments. Janet is also one of the authors of the bestselling 2016 real estate investment guide Real Estate Action 2.0.  In 2017, Janet was named Entrepreneur of the Year (Real Estate/Construction/Pacific region) by Ernst & Young. In 2016, Janet was named one of Business in Vancouver’s Forty Under 40 and was awarded the Veuve Cliquot Canadian New Generation Award which recognizes young female entrepreneurs.

David Steele

General Partner

Mr. Steele is an entrepreneurial executive who has offered leading edge investment opportunities to thousands of individual investors in both Canada and the United States. Mr. Steele, from 1997-2001, was CEO of International Properties Group Ltd., a real estate company listed on the TSX which purchased apartment buildings and converted them to condominiums. While at IPG, Mr. Steele developed and operated a wealth management division which helped thousands of individual investors acquire over 85 projects and 7000 properties throughout North America and those investment properties continue to generate passive investment income today.

Mr. Steele has been actively involved in the growth of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), a nonprofit organization which now has over 7,500 members worldwide. In 1993/94, Mr. Steele served as EO’s International president.

Dave has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in finance from the University of Calgary.

Doug Mather

Vice President, Business Development

Doug has wide oversight of asset valuation, deal structure and financing, and overall company stewardship. He has served as both Vice President of Finance and Capital & Investments for Amacon Development Group, a leading Canadian real estate development and construction firm. While at Amacon, he placed $1.5 billion in new construction loans and long-term real estate loans, as well as structured numerous credits requiring syndicated financing participants. He has developed solid relationships with commercial real estate brokers in multiple geographic markets and analyzed property acquisitions across all product types. Doug has also served in several management roles with Canadian financial institutions. Doug holds an MBA in Finance (Dalhousie University).

Erik Loptson

Vice President, Operations

Erik has nearly 20 years’ experience in business development, financial management and business-plan execution in leadership roles with rapid-growth companies. Erik previously had a management role at Ledcor Technical Services, a division of Ledcor Group, where he was responsible for price, proposal and contract development for large opportunities, and seeing them through pursuit to successful implementation. During Erik’s four years at Ledcor, the division doubled annual revenues and developed a strong backlog of large, multi-year projects.  Prior to joining Ledcor, Erik was responsible for product management and market development at Parasun Technologies. He was part of the leadership team that grew annual revenue ten-fold, leading to the company’s acquisition. Erik holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship (University of Victoria).

Tim McLeary

Vice President, Investor Relations

Tim has more than 25 years of  experience in business development, financial management and client relationship management. He was responsible for the oversight of more than $1 billion in assets and managed a 40-person team at TD Bank Financial Group. As a Senior Consultant at Standard Life, Tim worked with a group of high net worth advisors throughout B.C., helping them increase the efficiency and profitability of their businesses. At Cassels Blaikie, Tim was responsible for the relationship management of institutional and high net worth clients.

Warren Kent

Vice President, Finance

Warren has assumed leadership roles in the management and control of the general accounting, finance and tax-planning functions for several real estate companies. He was previously Vice President of Finance for Vanac Development Corp., an asset and property management company overseeing a portfolio of residential apartment buildings and mobile home parks. Warren oversaw tax compliance, accounting, reporting, loan financing and due diligence on acquisitions. He has specific experience in developing initiatives to increase rental revenues, reduce operating costs and maximize net operating income. Warren has served as corporate controller for Intracorp Projects Ltd. and Bosa Development Corp. Warren is a Certified Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (University of B.C.).

Joshua Holmes

Director, Acquisitions

Joshua has closed $750 million in real estate transactions over the last 12 years. He has proven experience in sourcing potential multi-family opportunities, financial analysis and modelling, negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan terms and managing the due diligence process through to close of escrow. Joshua worked previously for Clear Sky Capital, assuming a key contributing role in acquiring a substantial portfolio of multi-family assets, car washes, self-storage facilities and automotive facilities. He’s also led the Appraisal Review Department, with oversight of Western U.S., for Stearns Bank and was a commercial real estate broker for Sperry Van Ness.

Tim Ruditys

Director, Asset Management

Tim has built a successful 20-year career in identifying and executing on opportunities to add income and decrease expenses for property owners. Tim was previously regional manager for Greystar Real Estate Partners, where he oversaw 15 apartment communities (3,000 units). With a strong focus on customer service and on-site employee satisfaction, Tim has earned a strong reputation for ensuring both the overall portfolio and individual communities meet operational, financial and business performance goals. He actively inspects communities, reviews financial, market and operating reports, and develops and implements appropriate action plans to achieve results. Tim holds an Arizona Real Estate License and Certified Apartment Manager designation.
